Matt is
an actor, director, professor, and professional playwright with extensive training in both classical
and modern theatre. He received
his
MFA from UC RIverside in Playwriting and his MA from San Diego State Univeristy.
As a professor
for Mesa and City College, Matt has taught Acting, The Study of Filmed Plays, Playwriting, Theatre & Social Issues, Introduction to Dramatic Arts,
Beginning Voice, Acting for Film, Cinema as Art/Communication.
He recently directed and fully produced City’s 4th Annual Festival of New Plays.

Matt has also
been a local actor and director for over 15 years, working with The La Jolla Playhouse, North Coast Rep, The San Diego Rep, Cygnet Theatre, Moxie Theatre and Diversionary Theatre to name a few.
As an actor, Matt was most recently seen on stage at Moxie Theatre in Yoga Play and North Coast Rep in Moon Over Buffalo.
