Shakespeare Workshop at the Old Globe

I got this email yesterday--feel free to participate.

Hi Katie-

The San Diego Shakespeare Society is presenting an Acting Shakespeare  Workshop on July 29th with Ray Chambers (Head of Acting for The Old Globe / USD's MFA Program) and we thought your students might be interested.

There are still spaces open to register as an actor or to attend as an audience member/auditor.

Here's the link » sdshakespeare.org/asw-july2019

I've also attached a graphic with all the details, if you'd like to share or forward.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We'd love to share this opportunity with the next generation of actors!

Cheers,
Nathan

Website update

Hello! The City College Theatre website has been updated--check it out here. It's still a work in progress, but at least there is some current information there.

Important: please look at the Theatre Alumni link on the left. No doubt there are people who have been left off. Please shoot an email to Katie Rodda at krodda@sdccd.edu with updates. Thanks!

Welcome to Andy Lynch!

Welcome to new City College Theatre Technician, Andy Lynch! Andy is filling the very big shoes left vacant by Rob Norberg, who retired on June 30.

Andy comes to City after nearly twelve years of service at Sea World, San Diego. While at Sea World, Andy worked lighting for the theme park, productions, and corporate events. Outside of his work at Sea Word, he has provided electrician, carpentry, and stagehand support to productions at The Old Globe Theater, La Jolla Playhouse, Comic Con, and the JCC Garfield Theatre.

Andy is no stranger to City College. He is a former student and previously attended classes in the dramatic arts. It was during this time at City College that he fell in love with the technical side of dramatic arts, and even then knew the Saville Theatre was a special place.

Andy can be reached via email at alynch@sdccd.edu.  His office is located in Building C, C106D. His campus phone number is 619-388-3508.

Welcome, Andy!
