Black Lives Matter San Diego ART EVENT 6/19

From Adam Parrocha, City College alumnus:

“Take your broken heart and turn it into art.” - Carrie Fisher

In this difficult time, please consider directing your creative energies into creating art as an ally for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Please SHARE the attachment with your students, friends, children and artistic colleagues to encourage their participation as an ally for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Next Friday we aim to place the art along the Cabrillo/ Laurel Street Bridge in Balboa Park before joining in a sit-in/sing-in along Park Blvd and President’s Way (mindful of social distancing!) at 4pm.

If you cannot join us in person:
-consider driving through the park and dropping the art off along the bridge. Volunteers will be present!
-share your art next Friday on your social media platforms with #artists4blacklives
-donate: ebonimuse@gmail.com or Venmo: @ebonimuse (indicate: A4BL)

Thank you for considering and standing in solidarity with our friends and colleagues.

-Adam
