LA JOLLA PLAYHOUSE IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
FOR WITHOUT WALLS 2017


The 2017 WoW Festival is October 19 – 22 in downtown San Diego and surrounding areas. Festival locations include: the San Diego Public Library, Horton Plaza Park, Bread & Salt, Border X Brewing, The New Children’s Museum, and others. Various volunteer positions are available at all locations.
The 2017 WoW Festival will showcase multiple performances by acclaimed local, national and international artists, as well as a selection of family-friendly offerings. Confirmed projects include:
  • Super Night Shot by the Berlin/Nottingham-based Gob Squad.
  • Model Home, by 2017 Tony Award-winning scenic designer and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow Mimi Lien (Playhouse’s Milk Like Sugar).
  • Under Construction: An American Masque by Sledgehammer Theatre (2015 WoW Festival's Heaven on Earth).
  • Incoming: Sex, Drugs, and Copenhagen by the storytelling group So Say We All.
  • Popular interactive family fun: The Quest 3.0, developed in collaboration with The New Children’s Museum.
If you are interested in being a WoW Volunteer, please follow the link below. We are especially looking for individuals who are available to volunteer for a minimum or four hours per shift, for at least two days during or leading up to the festival.

Being a volunteer for WoW offers the opportunity to interact with amazing artists from around the world at the intersection where art and community meet.
