DANCE 127, Body Modalities and Injury Prevention, is offered MW from 3:05 - 5:10. It's a great class taught by Terry Wilson that covers yoga, Alexander, Feldenkries, and overall wellness. Recommended for actors and other theatre practitioners.

DRAM 105, Introduction to Dramatic Arts--ONLINE

Need to take DRAM 105? Don't want to come to campus to do it? Take it online! This class is offered in 8-week sessions, starting January 30 and April 3. The instructor is Dr. Patrice Amon; here's a little bit about her:

Maria Patrice Amon is a recent PhD graduate in drama from UCI with emphases in Critical Theory and Chicano Studies. Her dissertation is titled “Little Girls and Legal Defendants: Theatricalization and Performances of Innocence in Modern American Culture.” She is a UC Irvine Chancellor’s Fellow in drama. Maria Patrice is a dramaturg and has worked with San Diego Rep, Mo’oleo, and The University of San Diego. She has directed and produced with Brown Bag Theatre Company. Maria Patrice holds a Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law.

New Play Festival 2017

Thank you to all of the students that submitted their short scripts to this year's festival. It was a challenging and arduous process in terms of selecting.

These following are the short plays that will be presented March 10-19, 2017- Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.

If you are interested in auditioning for the 2017 New Play Festival please come to the Semester Auditions on Feb 2 at the Saville Theatre. Sign ups begin at 6pm. Please prepare a one-two minute memorized monologue of your choice. Callbacks will be the following week.
