Cal Grant disbursements are delayed!

We just got word that all Cal Grant disbursements will be delayed by two weeks. This is obviously terribly disappointing news, so we wanted to remind you all about two opportunities for funding:

A cool opportunity from the La Jolla Playhouse

La Jolla Playhouse - Wikipedia
Greetings!

My name is Hannah Reinert, and I am the Education and Outreach Coordinator who oversees LJP's Playhouse Teen Council (PTC) Program.

I wanted to inform you that we plan to move forward with our PTC programing for the 20/21 School Year.  I would so appreciate your help in spreading the word amongst the San Diego teens in your life that we are accepting applications through Sept 7, with interviews scheduled for Wednesday Sept 9 at 4:30pm via Zoom (link to application below).

A little bit about PTC:
Playhouse Teen Council is an advocacy and advisory group involving creative and dynamic high school students throughout San Diego County who demonstrate strong leadership qualities and a passion for theatre. The purpose of the Playhouse Teen Council is to foster the next generation of theatre leaders and professionals. PTC members serve a term that is generally the length of one academic year. Meetings are held from 4:30 – 6:00 pm on the first and third Monday of every month, first meeting will start in September.

You can find more info & application linked below:

Thank you for your incredible support and contributions to the success of the Playhouse and PTC! I am available by email or phone if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at any time.
Best,
Hannah Reinert
