Anyone looking for work?

 Here are three opportunities:

#1:

Hello students, You’ve probably seen the headlines about the thousands of refugees who have been temporary temporarily housed at the San Diego Convention Center.  https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/immigration/story/2021-03-27/san-diego-convention-center-to-shelter-first-500-migrant-girls-this-weekend Select Staffing is proud to partner with the federal government and its subcontractors to provide support for those refugees. Specifically, they are recruiting for youth care workers who will be providing assistance and comfort to the refugees housed at the Convention Center. The group of refugees at the San Diego Convention Center is comprised of females from ages 13 to 17 years old. If you are over 18 years old who would be interested in working at the San Diego convention center as a youth care worker. They need workers during three shifts seven days a week;

  • 6 AM to 2 PM  ($20 per hour pay rate)
  • 2 PM to 10 PM ($21 per hour pay rate)
  • 10 PM to 2 AM ($22 per hour pay rate)

Obviously, this is a very delicate assignment and they need youth care workers who will have empathy and compassion for the refugee population.  No special skills are required other than having  high school graduation of GED and clean background check. Their need is urgent and immediate and they need hundreds of youth care workers for this assignment that will last for the next 27 weeks.   Interested candidates should contact: Select Workforce Specialist 7061 Clairemont Mesa Blvd Suite 218 San Diego, CA 92111 (858) 492-9995 Email address: brsdg@select.com
